Sir Syed Deaf Association arranged a One Day trip for deaf members to Khewra Salt Mines. Mr. Haq Nawaz, General Secretary, was the Organizer while Mushtaq Butt and Shakil Ahmad constituted the organizing Committee.

The group left Islamabad at 08.00 AM and reached Khewra Salt Mines at 10:30 AM via Motorway.  The local Deaf Association arranged lunch for the visiting group and briefed about the Salt Mines. After Zohr prayer, group visited the Salt Mines. 

On the way back, the group visited Kallar Kahar and members did boating there as well. The group reached back Islamabad at 06:30 PM.
